Anti-Ro/SS-A autoantibodies are classified as polyclonal antibodies and occur in patients with Sjogren syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis and lupus erythematosus. Anti SSA (RO) IgG (ELISA) is performed to evaluate patients in whom AN is positive and who show symptoms of connective tissue disorders.
